  • A short guide to Park City

Historic Victorian buildings line Park City’s bustling main street, where ample nightlife can be found for such a small mountain town. Meanwhile, relics of its mining heritage can still be seen near the slopes. Two of Park City’s three ski resorts were used during the 2002 Winter Olympics. Another item that puts the city on the map? The yearly Sundance Film Festival.

The Glitretind - Romantic, Scandinavian-style room with fireplace, mountain views, hand-painted Norwegian floral motifs and proverbs on walls. Seasonal outdoor deck. Sophisticated global cuisine with American regional influences. Grilled Filet of Colorado Beef, Sage Spiced Loin of Idaho Elk, rich chocolate desserts among menu highlights. AAA Four-Diamond Award, Mobile Four-Star Award. Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 8,000-bottle wine collection. Breakfast, lunch, dinner daily. Lavish Sunday brunch buffet year-round; hearty Skiers' Buffet in winter.

Troll Hallen Lounge - Stone fireplace, beamed ceiling, mountain views, seasonal outdoor deck. Popular for après ski. Drinks, breakfast, lunch, and appetizers daily. Dinner (Glitretind menu). Fondue (both cheese and chocolate) in winter.
